The timeless love story written by Giacomo Puccini at the beginning of 20th century has lost none of its relevance. This spectacle played in the Warsaw National Opera has been enthusiastically approveded and guested on international stages, including Petersburg, Washington and Tel Aviv.
Directed by Mariusz Treliński has become one of the most significant and iconic of his works. Despite of the fact that it has been played since 1999, it still impresses and moves thanks to the minimalist, clean and even ascetic scenography by Boris Kudlička.

It’s one of the best performances I’ve ever seen in my entire life – Plácido Domingo.
